I realized I was down to my last copy of “Analog Thinking” while evaluating my inventory for Milwaukee zine fest yesterday (which was a blast, btw!). After printing and folding a new batch for the fest, it felt like the perfect zine to share with you today.
This zine highlights the important role of writing and drawing on paper and includes wisdom from my comics hero Lynda Barry who has inspired so many people through her work. She is an encouraging beacon of creative energy, and when I’m able to channel her wisdom, it helps me get out of my own way and make the work.
If you’d like to dive into more on this topic,
recently shared a post called Fearless Creativity: Lessons from Teenagers that struck a chord with me and also highlights the great Lynda Barry. Kelcey’s newsletter is an amazing source of creative inspiration, and I definitely recommend subscribing!Next week I’ll share more about the joy that was Milwaukee Zine Fest!
