Hello, Friends -
Last week I wrote about reuniting with my favorite pen and trying to embrace messier drawings. A couple of you replied proclaiming your shared love for Paper Mate Flair pens! This brought me a lot of joy — I always welcome your replies!
Today, I want to continue the theme of carefree drawings with a love letter to coffee:
I drew this on a weekend morning while sipping coffee outside and easing into the day. It should be noted that my mug does not actually have oak leaves on it. I took some artistic liberties, and the result feels quite fallish. As soon as the basswood seeds start to swirl around, my patio takes on a fall-like energy — minus the humidity, of course!
Question for you:
Do you drink hot coffee in the summer? If not, what do you have instead?! Cold brew? Energy drinks? An ice cold Diet Coke? Please tell me all about your summertime caffeine consumption preferences in a comment!
I’d like to try something a little different this month for paid subscribers. Instead of sharing one printable download every week, I’d like to share a roundup of printable downloads (art prints and/or zines) in one post at the end of the month. Then throughout the month, I can keep these Sunday newsletters completely paywall free. Paid subscribers will get all the same goodies, but once a month instead of weekly. Let’s try it, and see how it feels!
If you have any thoughts about what you’d like to see in this newsletter for free or paid subscribers, please let me know by adding your ideas in the comments! (Honestly, put anything in the comments! An emoji will do! I just want to see you in the comments! 👋)
xoxo,
Sheri
