It’s official: the season of shopping and sugar is upon us. Ideally, this comes with a lot of joy. Less ideally, this comes with an influx of stress and a dizzying feeling that it’s all flying by too fast and you simply don’t have time to do it all, let alone enjoy it all. I don’t know how to make things slow down, but I do have some gift ideas that might help check a couple items off your list.
For dino-loving kiddos
Hide & Go Seek-A-Saurus is a comic style picture book that includes six interactive spreads that invite readers to count down with the narrator and play hide-and-go-seek with dino pals Steve and Daryl. Loveable characters, humorous dialogue, and a subplot that explores the themes of friendship and being a good sport will bring kids back to read (and play hide-and-go-seek) with their new dinosaur friends over and over again.
For music lovers
Everybody knows that music is cool, and I’m sure you have some cool friends who probably would dig this music-themed merch.
For your long-distance friend
You know the friend. You’re super close, but physically far. They may live across the globe, or perhaps they live in the same town, but you’re in a different life stage and it’s just hard to see each other right now. Or maybe you have a friend who recently had a kid go off to college or lost a loved one. For all of the above, I offer you a heartwarming comic about how the people you love are always with you even when they aren’t physically around.
For bike lovers
This design is also available on unisex t-shirts and women’s v-necks! But if you don’t know your bicycle-loving friend’s t-shirt size, mix it up with a tote, mug, or throw pillow. Use the button below to shop the full collection.
For animal lovers
I have a TON of animal designs in my online shop, but this earnest and hopeful penguin is my favorite these days. She makes me think, Wow, maybe everything will be ok.
For your sassiest pal
As soon as I say “your sassy friend,” you have someone in mind, don’t you? Or perhaps you have a friend who needs more help saying no? Either way, this mug is for them.
For the DIYers
You know your extra-amazing friend who is always too hard on themselves? Well, I turned my zine “Just a Reminder” into a one-page comic that fits perfectly on a letter-size piece of paper! If you missed it, check out the zine version in my recent post Say Nice Things to Yourself.
Print this for yourself or get a 8-1/2” x 11” frame and wrap it up for a friend. Boom! An easy, thoughtful gift.
