Before I dive into today’s note, I’d like to share a quick zine update: “Stardust” is at the printer! WOO HOO! It’s scheduled to arrive at my doorstep around February 22. I plan to ship pre-orders (and regular orders!) during the last week of the month!
Finalizing files for the printer is always a little painful. Every time you look at it, you see some picky thing you want to tweak. Or wonder… should I tweak that?! At least, this is what happens to me! This week I finally let go of the editing process. On the bright side, after editing and editing and editing, I’m still excited about this poetry collection. It says exactly what I want it to say, and I cannot wait to share it with you!
A couple weeks ago, I shared the slow process behind making "Stardust” in Letting Creative Work Marinate. It got me thinking about my mini zine “Slow Burn” which explores the push and pull of what lights us up and burns us out. If life has felt slow or overwhelming (or both!) this week, I hope you enjoy these gentle words.
