Hi, friends. I’ve been fighting off a cold all week. Mid-week I thought I had prevailed over illness thanks to the magic of zinc! I was seriously ready to make t-shirts touting its incredible healing powers! But alas, Thursday and Friday things took a turn, and I was down for the count. So, while I intend to keep taking vitamins, I’m not planning any celebratory t-shirt designs. (I mean, maybe the vitamins helped?! Who knows!)
In between naps and the fog of cold medicine, I read books with pictures (my favorite kind!) and played around with some different brushes in Procreate. My capacity for thinking was impressively low, but I still wanted to draw something. I offer you these scratchy, experimental panels:
I actually really enjoyed using this scratchy brush! It might show up in some future, more-thought-out work.
In case you missed it, last week I shared an Indie Art Gift Guide. Check it out to grab some free printable art from me and gift recommendations from some of my favorite makers.
If you’d like to get anything from my shop in time for Christmas, I recommend ordering this week just to be safe! This sleepy fox design feels particularly appropriate this week.
I have oodles of illustrated T-shirts, tote bags, mugs, and more, along with illustrated books and zines. Check out the entire store by clicking the button below.
